The Ather Rizta S 3.7kWh variant has been launched in India at Rs 1,37,047 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The larger battery gives it a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 159km . Apart from the battery, everything else remains the same. The Rizta S was earlier available only with a 2.9kWh battery which has a claimed range of 123km.

The new Rizta S 3.7kWh is the most-expensive S variant. While it gets the same battery and range as the top-spec Rizta Z 3.7kWh, it gets some lower spec features to keep the price in check. That said, all the variants of the Rizta look the same, but only differ in the colour options.
The new variant of the electric scooter has all the necessary features like a 7-inch LCD console with turn-by-turn navigation, hill-hold assist, tow and theft alerts, and is capable of fast-charging as well. While no full charging specs are disclosed yet, fast-charging should give it a 15km range in 10min of charging at the Ather Grid network.
The variant gets the brand’s optional 'Ather Eight70’ warranty like other Ather scooters, in which Ather guarantees minimum 70% battery health over 8 years or 80,000km. The new variant can be booked at any of the Ather’s outlets or on their website.
With the new variant, prospective buyers can get a Rizta that has as much range as the top-end Z variant, but is cheaper and still has all the basics in place (in terms of features and practicality).
