Ather Energy Opens First Showroom In Mumbai

The brand is participating in the ongoing CES 2021 and has also started deliveries of its Series 1 scooters

About a year after announcing its expansion plans, Bengaluru-based startup Ather Energy has set up its first Ather Space in Bandra, Mumbai. The brand has also started delivering its flagship product, Series 1, in the financial capital of the country.

The 450X Series 1 is a limited edition model launched in September 2020. The highlight of the e-scooter is the translucent body panels. There’s a lot more to the Series 1 and you can read all about it here.

Ather Energy showcased the 450X at the Consumer Electronic Show 2021. It is one of the biggest shows focusing on technology and its development, which could be resourceful in maximising the brand’s outreach. The 450X, in our opinion, is the best electric scooter in the Indian market at the moment. Recently, we thoroughly tested the e-scooter and the results are what one would expect from a performance-oriented electric vehicle.

In the second expansion phase, the brand plans to cater to 27 cities in India. Ather Energy has addressed the issue of charging infrastructure by installing 74 charging stations across eight cities in India.
