Ampere Reo Elite Electric Scooter Launched In India

Bookings for the electric scooter have already commenced on Ampere’s website

Ampere has launched a new electric scooter called the Reo Elite in India at Rs 45,099 (ex-showroom Bengaluru). With the introduction of the Reo Elite, Ampere now has five electric scooters in its India lineup. Interested customers can book their Reo Elite on the company’s website for a token amount of Rs 1,999. Moreover, the electric scooter manufacturer is offering a helmet for free.

In terms of features, it gets an LED digital instrument console and a USB port. Yes, that’s about it. There’s no LED headlamp, no Bluetooth connectivity, not even different riding modes! However, if you want an electric scooter without all the features, but with decent power and range, you might want to take a look at this one. It is powered by a 250W motor and the 20Ah lead-acid battery that will offer a range of around 55km in the city and 60km on the highway. And as you’d expect from an entry-level e-scooter, there’s no fast charging or battery swapping tech.
