2027 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Gets New Shades Internationally
No mechanical changes but the new colours make the bike look even more tempting
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R gets a fresh update for 2027 in the international market. It gets two new shades which complement the supersport bike. Other than that, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged.
It is powered by a 636cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine, which produces 124 PS and 69 Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Flat Spark Black
The Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Flat Spark Black colour goes really well with the bike’s overall sporty silhouette. The motorcycle gets grey accents along with the fairing, ZX-6R graphics and indicators embedded into the fairing, making the bike look slick.
The colour overall makes the bike look stealthy, like a Ninja, which really goes well with the bike’s name. People who want an understated colour and don’t want the bike to stand out, but still want a sporty look, can go with this colour.
Metallic Matte Carbon Gray
The Metallic Matte Carbon Gray is the most eye-catching shade. It gets green accents along the bodywork. The fairings get the ‘ZX-6R’ graphics in the green colour, which elevates the sportiness of the motorcycle. Additionally, the bike gets green wheels, which makes it stand out.
Underpinnings-wise, the bike remains mechanically unchanged.

The 2027 updates are limited to the international market as of now and are not available in India. All said and done, we hope Kawasaki India brings the new shades to India, giving the ZX-6R a much-needed refresh.
