KTM is all set to launch the highly anticipated 2025 390 Adventure S in the Indian market tomorrow - January 30, 2025. The ADV was previously unveiled at the India Bike Week in December 2024, along with the other KTM big bikes. KTM India has also teased the bike again, showcasing the ADV in action.
Here’s what we know about the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure S
The upcoming 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S features a rally bike-inspired design, new projector headlights and also has a rally tower. It comes with raised fenders, long travel suspension and increased ground clearance, which would make it an even more capable bike.
The 2025 390 Adventure is powered by the same 399cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder LC4C engine as the KTM 390 Duke, which makes 45.9PS and 39Nm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The KTM 390 Adventure S gets an all-LED lighting setup and is equipped with the same 5-inch colour TFT console as the 390 Duke. It also gets cornering ABS, traction control, multiple ride modes, and cruise control features. The bike also has switchable ABS modes, to help slide the bike on the off-road trails and provide controlled braking.
The upcoming 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S gets a steel trellis frame. It gets a 43mm WP Apex inverted fork and a WP monoshock, both being rebound and pre-load adjustable. Braking setup includes discs at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard. It is fitted with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, which will be wrapped with tubed tyres.
Expected Price & Rivals
We expect the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure S to be priced somewhere around the Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival the other 300-400cc adventure bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the Yezdi Adventure, the BMW G310 GS, upcoming TVS Apache RTX ADV and the upcoming Hero XPulse 421.

- Ready to Adventure.I also have a Duke, Adv has covered all the issues which I have faced on Duke when I use to go on long rides, Ride is also plush coupled with a great engine which proves itself on all grounds. Also it has a decent fuel efficiency considering its engine performance. Bike's comfortable its mileage is also good I get a decent range, but the engine won't feel as raw as BS4 duke, great electronics and safety. Just having engine oil consumption on higher side. Also the Trampler tyres give more life than Turanzas which came initially. Long hauling person should definitely buy this bike, long rides are so hassle free.
