Revised design, more features and better equipment - all at just Rs 14,000 more!

2025 Kawasaki Z900 Launched In India: Priced At Just Rs 14,000 More Than Before

    Quick Highlights:

    • Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Z900 in India

    • The bike gets a new TFT console and more features including cruise control

    • The 2025 iteration is priced at Rs 9,52,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The most popular superbike in India, the Kawasaki Z900, has been launched in its 2025 iteration in the country. The bike gets many changes over its previous version to make it even more appealing than ever before. But the best part? Priced at Rs 9,52,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is only Rs 14,000 more expensive than the 2024 model! Let’s look at all the changes it receives:

    2025 Kawasaki Z900

    What’s New?

The most apparent change in the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is that of its revised design language. It now gets sleeker triple-LED headlights and revised body panels. The major design change is in the rear: gone is the Z-shaped tailight and in comes a new W-shaped LED tailight. Looks are always subjective, but in our opinion, we really loved the Z-shaped tail light as it matched with the name of the bike. That said, the rest of the design looks fresh, and is a welcome change.

The Z900 now gets more tech than ever before. It comes with a new 5-inch TFT console that supports smartphone connectivity. Other features include a bidirectional quickshifter (standard), four riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain and Rider (customisable), two power modes (Low and Full), four levels of traction control, wheelie control, slide control and cruise control.

    Updated Engine

The heart of the Kawasaki Z900, the 948cc inline-four engine, has remained unchanged, though it now complies with the latest emission norms. It now makes 124PS and 97.4Nm, which is 1PS and 1.2Nm lower than the previous generation.

Revised Suspension & Brakes = Better Handling:

The hardware, too, has undergone some changes, though most of it remains the same. Kawasaki claims that they have stiffened up the chassis, tuned the suspension (fully-adjustable as before) differently for better ride quality and have given the Z900 new, stickier Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres replacing the Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 rubbers. It now also comes with radial brake callipers at the front, and the petal brake discs at both ends have been replaced with regular discs.

    2025 Kawasaki Z900

The wheelbase is now 1,450mm, which is 5mm less than before. All these changes should translate to improved ride quality and handling over the previous model. Also, the seat is now at 830mm, a 10mm increase over the 2024 version. Shorter riders may not appreciate this in the 2025 model, especially considering the fact that it weighs 213kg kerb (1kg more than before). The fuel tank is the same at 17 litres, and so is the 145mm ground clearance.

    BikeDekho Says

The Kawasaki Z900 has been India’s favourite superbike for quite some time now, and that is evident in its sales figures. Having sold 810 units in the 2024-25 financial year (April 2024 to March 2025), it is more than any of its rivals, such as the Triumph Street Triple and even the Ducati Monster. Sure, it now faces fierce competition from the recently launched Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which is the cheapest litre-class, 150PS bike in India. That said, it still offers fantastic value for money for the price it commands as it is not too far off from the Hornet in terms of power output, while being Rs 2.84 lakh cheaper.

Thrill and Practicality in One Package
Buying the Kawasaki Z900 was a great experience, the dealership was helpful and made delivery smooth. the bike looks stunning with its aggressive streetfighter design and always grabs attention. Riding comfort is good for city use and even better on highways, with smooth power delivery and strong performance from the 948cc engine. The exhaust not is addictive, and braking is very reliable. Servicing is slightly costly but worth it if maintained regularly. Overall, the Z900 is a perfect mix of style, power, and everyday usability.

      Pro and cons of z900
Bike is good but for looks it is not that approaching, because of the naked segment bike. But the performance is unbeatable around this price point in the whole market of super bikes in India, in short we can say that a budget friendly bike that have immense weight to power ratio in this segment you can increase its looks by adding some minimal mods to that.
