A much more environment friendly Super Splendor is here

    Quick Highlights:

    • 2025 Hero Super Splendor Xtec Launched

    • Gets an OBD-2B compliant engine

    • Still misses out on some features

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 Super Splendor Xtec in India. Priced from  Rs 88,128 (ex-showroom Delhi), the motorcycle remains unchanged but Hero has made it more environment friendly.

    What's New

For 2025, the Super Splendor Xtec gets an OBD-2B compliant 124.7cc single-cylinder engine. The power figures remain the same as before –  10.7PS at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm.

    Price List

    Super Splendor Xtec Variants

    New Price

    Old Price

    Disc

    Rs 92,028

    Rs 90,028

    Drum

    Rs 88,128

    Rs 86,128

    All prices ex-showroom Delhi.

In terms of the pricing, both the variants of the new Super Splendor Xtec are Rs 2,000 more expensive than their non-OBD-2B compliant counterparts.

    What's Unchanged

Apart from the emissions compliance,  the Super Splendor Xtec remains unchanged. The motorcycle retains its minimalistic yet stylish looks along with the same paint schemes as before: Matt Nexus Blue, Matt Grey, Black, and Candy Blazing Red. It gets a steel tubular frame with a conventional telescopic fork and preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. The Drum variant gets a 130mm drum at both ends while the disc variant gets a 240mm front disc and 130mm drum; CBS (combined braking system) being standard for both variants. It runs on 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless 80-section front and 90-section rear tyres.

The Super Splendor Xtec has  i3s tech, which is an engine stop-start system that switches the engine off while idling for long in traffic. It gets an all-LED headlight, and a digital console which shows all the necessary information. It supports smartphone connectivity for SMS & call alerts. Along with this, the motorcycle also gets a USB charger for conveniently charging a mobile phone while riding.

    BikeDekho Says

The Hero Super Splendor has always been the choice of those who want a more powerful motorcycle than the Splendor Plus, but with Hero's reliability and fuel efficiency. The Xtec version takes that approach a step further by offering many more useful features as well. That said, the slight price increase is alright considering the OBD-2B compliance needs some more sensors to keep the engine emissions cleaner.

      bike review
Very nice and beautiful bike. The repair cost is also not very much. I really like this bike, and the mileage of this bike is also very good. I would suggest buying this bike and riding it. Visually, this bike is very elegant and beautiful. The maintenance cost of this bike is also within my budget, and nothing is much greater than this bike in this segment.

      good bike for daily use
Overall very good bike with reasonable price and engine performance, but yes some vibration in engine at high speed around 70. Looks wise also clean and pickup is not very good or bad. I used honda shine in past pickup was better than this one and yellowish digital meter can be also negative for some user.

      Value for Every Rupee
The mileage of this bike is excellent for long rides. I trusted it. I bought this one because it had both style and mileage. It looked neat, not overdone, and the performance felt strong. Ideal for long-term use. Very good ride quality. The handling is smooth, engine noise is low, and it’s comfortable for long hours. Feels solid while riding. Smooth gear shifting and steady performance even on rough stretches. Best for daily users who want fuel efficiency and fewer repairs. This bike is best for long rides and feels dependable. Comfort That Feels Premium
Bought this after reading a few owner reviews. The design looked neat and the mileage was impressive. Also comfortable for longer rides. I went for this because it’s affordable and has a solid engine. Didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted a strong machine. It’s a smooth experience overall. Doesn’t make much noise, handles well on turns, and the brakes feel secure. Engine feels peppy and the pickup is nice. Doesn’t shake even at 70–80 km/h. I use it daily and haven’t faced any problems. A good fit if you’re looking for a middle-ground bike — not too heavy, not too light. Easy on the pocket and runs long. Worth recommending if you want value for money. It’s simple, strong, and very pocket-friendly to maintain.
