BMW Motorrad has dropped a new teaser on its social media handles showing a glimpse of the tail section of the G 310 RR supersport. Going by the teaser, we think the brand might be updating the bike with performance and feature upgrades similar to what we have seen on the 2025 TVS Apache RR 310. Here’s what we think the updated bike might offer:
The G 310 RR and the TVS Apache RR 310 are based on the 310cc platform jointly developed by BMW Motorrad and TVS. So we can expect the updated G 310 RR to get some of the same changes that the Apache had got with the 2024 and 2025 updates. Currently, the BMW G 310 RR’s 312cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, reverse inclined engine produces 34PS and 27.3Nm.

As part of the 2024 updates, the TVS Apache RR 310 saw a decent bump in terms of performance, from 34PS and 27.3Nm to 38PS and 29Nm, and also the addition of cruise control. Expect the same tune to be carried over to the BMW G 310 RR, and the inclusion of cruise control as well.
With the 2025 update TVS took the Apache RR 310 to the next level with a launch control system and also cornering engine braking control. We hope BMW Motorrad works on bringing a lot of these changes and new features to the bike as well. We also think the brand may add winglets on the 2025 G 310 RR.

The TVS Apache RR 310 is more popular than the BMW G 310 RR as it not only offers better features but also at an affordable price point. With the 2025 updates, we hope the G 310 RR comes closer to the Apache in terms of sheer value. Speaking of value, we think its price will remain unchanged. BMW Motorrad already confirmed that the current-gen G 310 RR will be priced at Rs 2,81,000 (ex-showroom) after GST 2.0 comes into effect from September 22, 2025. It’s just a matter of time before we know what BMW Motorrad is up to.

Feels comfortable. The only downsides are the premium price tag and the service costs which are higher than competitors. However, you are paying for the brand experience and the sophisticated electronics like this as compared. The engine is quite lively especially in Track and Sport modes. Its perfect for navigating city traffic and handles beautifully on twisty roads. While there are some vibrations once you cross 7000. Overall its niceRead More5 3
