Hero MotoCorp has put out a new teaser showing the upcoming 2024 Hero Destini 125. The updated scooter has a revamped design along with a bunch of other changes. The scooter is expected to be launched in the coming days.
Hero had recently sent us a first ride invite for the 2024 Destini 125, set to take place between the 6 and 7, September 2024. We expect the scooter to be launched on the 7th.
Judging by the teaser, the updated Destini has undergone a lot of changes and gets a brand new design. The scooter comes with a simple family oriented design, with the usual boxy styling. It features a H-shaped LED DRL and gets apron mounted turn indicators.
The scooter has a long and wide seat, keeping in line with the family oriented scooter nature. At the rear. It has a chunky looking pillion grabrail and backrest. The tail light and turn indicator setup looks quite sleek and gives the scooter a very modern look.
In terms of styling and colours, the trailer has revealed that the scooter will get a white colour scheme with bronze colour chrome highlights on the rearview mirrors, turn indicators and body panels. Overall, these small additions give the 2024 Hero Destini 125 a premium look and feel.
In terms of performance, we expect the scooter to be powered by the same 124.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 9.12PS and 10.4Nm. The scooter gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. It will likely have 12-inch alloys with tubeless tyres.
When talking about features, the teaser has revealed that the Destini 125 will get an Xtec variant bringing features such as smartphone connectivity and related features. We can expect the 2024 Destini 125 to offer turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.
We can expect the updated 2024 Destini 125 to come at a premium of around Rs 5,000 over the outgoing model’s price of Rs 80,048 for the LX and Rs 86,538 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Xtec variant. The 2024 Destini 125 will go up against other 125cc family oriented scooters in the market such as the Suzuki Access 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Honda Activa 125.

- Im using Destini XTEC fromIm using Destini XTEC from last 1 month. It really good in terms of mileage which is around 50 and comfort but when it comes to performance it is not that good you are expecting from product of hero. You may feel vibration at higher RPM or at max speed and control not so good. I will recommend Destini only if you are using it for normal city ride of around 10-20km per day.Read More
