Yamaha has updated the Aerox 155 in Indonesia. The sporty scooter has only received cosmetic updates while mechanically it has stayed the same. We expect the brand to offer the same updates to the Indian model later this year.
Talking about the changes, the sporty scooter is now offered with six new colours and refreshed graphics. The Matte Black Cyan colour gets greenish-blue highlights across its body and alloy wheels while the Dark Grey Yellow colour gets yellow highlights. Along with these two colours, the Aerox 155 is also offered with a Black and Red paint scheme. All these colours get a bold 'Aerox 155' sticker on both sides of the scooter.
The remaining two colours are Prestige Silver and Maxi Signature Black And Gold. Both these paint schemes get golden block-shaped stickers at the sides and golden highlights on the alloy wheels.

The scooter continues to be powered by the same Yamaha R15-derived 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This motor churns out 15.36PS and 13.9Nm.
Also, there's no change on the features front, the scooter gets a smart key (keyless operation), silent start, idle-stop-start system, USB charging port, LED headlight and taillight, side stand engine cutoff and a digital instrument cluster that can be paired to the smartphone via the Y-Connect app.
The price of the scooters starts at IDR 26,400,000 (approx Rs 1.37 lakh) and goes up to 30,400,000 (approx Rs 1.58 lakh) on-road Jakarta. In India, the Aerox 155 is sold at Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

- Good scooty with lots of flaws to be correctedBecause of its performance. It looks good. It has a good pickup and the balance is also very good. The agility is also decent. And the engine is super refined. And it stands out in its competition easily. I have a mixed experience with this bike. The battery got dead in just 6000 km. I had to replace the battery. The issue with the rear rim was the worst. The socket in which the rim fits it got loose and when i went to the service centre, they didn't come up with the solution. The front suspension is so hard that you can't even take small pots on the road. And the fit and finish can be much better. The rear break is week. If the road condition is very good and millage is not an issue and someone who wants a scooter which can deliver power and has a good road presence can consider it. And the feel when you ride this giant scooter on road everyone see this like how a scooter looks like this muscular. Ride is comfortable and smooth braking system. The ride is amazing i have went many places in this scooter with my friend and we have yet not faced any major issue during the ride we took it off road to jungle road also but everything was fine specifically the suspensions better as compared to other scooters in market . i think students should buy this its a little rough and tough it looks good has a good pickup has a decent storage space and finally gives a good milage and it does not make any loud sounds during the start so you can easily take it out for night outs.Read More11 10
