2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 to Lead ‘Classics’ Pack at Auto Expo

Triumph Motorcycles India will kick-off its Auto Expo outing next month with the Indian premiere of the new Bonneville T120. The largest British bike manufacturer had already globally unveiled its 2016 range of Classic motorcycles including this new model in 2015. The Triumph Bonneville T120 is also slated for launch in the country this year, will become the new flagship model in the Bonneville range.

Inspired by the legendary ‘59 Bonneville, the T120 features a wealth of old-school detailing, including deep chrome badges, wheel rims, grab rail and twin skinned chrome exhaust headers along with pea-shooter style silencers. It also comes in a special Black edition with Jet Black and Matte Graphite colour schemes and other complimenting parts.

Being the flagship model of the series, the T120 sports the new, bigger 1,200cc engine that produces a massive peak torque of 105Nm at just 3,100rpm. The output is almost 54 percent more than the previous generation model that gives it a new punch of acceleration. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Under the retro clothing, however, it carries advanced technologies including Fuel Injection, Ride-by-Wire and an engine management system.

2016 Triumph Bonneville T120 features an all-new chassis and suspension setup that has been developed for dynamic handling, making it more comfortable and practical for touring. Shod with dual front and single rear disc brakes, other features in the motorcycle include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control, Slip Assist clutch, heated grips, fingertip controls, DRL headlight, LED tail lamp, engine immobilizer, USB charging port and much more.

The new Bonneville T120 also offers a wide range of over 160 stylish accessories along with a complete prestige ‘Inspiration’ kit. With all the new powerful engine, advanced features and elegant style elements the new T120 is surely going to be a very strong player in the retro-classic motorcycle segment.
