Joy e-bike Thunderbolt Latest Updates
Joy e-Bike has launched the Thunderbolt at Rs 2,33,000, making it one of the most expensive electric motorcycles in the market. The faired bike looks eerily similar to the Ninja 300, albeit, a slightly redesigned faring.
The Thunderbolt is powered by a 73. 6V 72Ah lithium-ion battery with a claimed range of 110km and a 5kW BLDC hub motor that delivers 230Nm of torque. We wouldn't suggest you take this figure at face value as the torque output at the wheel hasn’t been revealed. You can charge the bike using a 10Amp charger, however, there's no word on how long it'll take for a full charge.
Its hardware comprises a telescopic fork and monoshock, twin disc brakes up front, and a single disc at the rear. It may come with CBS as opposed to ABS. It also features Internet of Things (IoT) sensors.
