Aviator Expert Review

Japanese manufacturer Honda is a powerful name when it comes to scooters. After a super hit performance by Honda activa, the company bought another 110cc scooter, Aviator. The scooter carries 109.20cc, four stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine which produces a maximum power of 8bhp and a torque of 8.7Nm. Mated with Honda Eco Technology (HET), Aviator manages to offer a superb mileage of 60 kmpl. The scooter is equipped with 90/100-12 and 90/100-10 front and rear tyres respectively.

Honda Aviator comes up with a well-designed body and an attractive front look which has curvy headlamps and clear lens indicators. The cushion seats offer a comfortable seating along with the spacious legroom to ensure a pleasant ride. Body dimensions of the Honda Aviator are 1,802 mm x 697 mm, 1,162 mm (LxWxH) featured with robust tail lamp with clear lens blinkers and an underseat storage capacity of 20 liters. The ground of the scooter is 1,256 mm and 145 mm respectively to make sure a good stability on the streets.

A well balanced and masculine body of the Honda Aviator features dual tone paint work to provide an exceptional experience. The front section of the scooter is given a upward posture and the rear part has been given a wide seating to make long journeys easy and satisfying. The trapezoidal tail lamp of Aviator is accompanied with clear lens turning blinkers.

The scooter has a 6 liter fuel tank which is enough for a smooth long road because of the good mileage maintained by the machine. Honda Aviator weighs around 109 kgs and the seats are mounted at a height of 790 mm.

Honda Aviator has a 109.20cc, four stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine with an automated transmission system. It produces a power of 8bhp at 7,000 rpm and the maximum torque is measured at 8.7Nm at 5,500 rpm. COmpression ratio of the this two wheeler is 9:5:1 with a bore stroke ratio of 50mm x 55.6mm. Adding on, The engine is fitted with Honda Eco Technology (HET) which improves combustion, optimizes transmission and reduces friction in the engine that makes the machine to produce wonderful mileage of 60 kmpl (as claimed by the company).

The stylish scooter has 910/100-12 front and 90/100-10 rear tubeless tyres fitted with 12 inch and 10 inch alloy rim front and rear respectively. An optional 190 mm disc brake is provided by the company to make it more classy otherwise the scooter is equipped with 130 mm drum brakes, both front and rear. Honda’s combined braking system (CBS) makes the scooter to automatically use both front and rear brakes together while pressing rear brake lever only. A highly durable swing arm with coil spring aided shock absorbers at the rear comes with telescopic forks at the front.

12V-35/35W headlamp of the muscular scooter provides a clean and clear sight in dull lighting conditions and the tubeless tyres do not collapse at the time of puncture which makes sures that the rider reach get the utility in time. An optional 190 mm disc brake with on the front side helps the rider stay away from jerks at the time emergency braking along with the Combined Braking System (CBS) provided by the company to cater comfortable braking. Honda Aviator is a low maintenance scooter as its battery does not need any periodic check which helps in saving a lot of money.
