Design and Features
Honda is known for its elegant yet practical styling and with all new Honda Activa 125, the company designers have certainly not disappointed anyone. The 125cc scooter is simply a treat to watch as it glides down the road. Despite its tough metal looks it has the poise to attract new buyers. What makes you fall in love with this scooter is its uniquely designed front panel. The front features a large headlamp cluster with LED position lights and an attractive chrome chest that leaves a fantastic impression on viewers’ mind. There is a sophisticated digital analogue meter which displays components like analogue speedometer, digital trip meter, odometer and fuel gauge. The display is lit by adequate lighting which makes it easy to read for the rider. The cuts and cosmetic lines across its side add sparkle to its overall appeal. The seating position is optimal for a rider ensuring a comfortable commute. At the rear end, it has grab rails which are stronger than earlier and offer great support to the pillion. Giving a satisfying end to the scooter is the sharp tail which features peculiarly designed tail light with integrated turn indicators.
On the convenience front, it has a lot to offer- from a retractable front hook to an under seat 18L storage space. There is a mobile charging socket in the under seat compartment which is a quite handy feature to have in a two-wheeler when you are on the move. Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) is a part of all new Honda Activa 125 which improves visibility significantly not just in dawn, dusk or fog but also in bright sunlight. Honda has blessed the scooter with Eco Technology and made it BS-IV compliant as well.
A new mid trim with alloys and drum brakes and a new colour (Mat Crust Metallic) option are now part of the Activa 125’s offerings list. Other available colour choices include the Midnight Blue Metallic, Black, Rebel Red Metallic and Pearl Amazing White.

The engine is mated to a V-Matic transmission system that makes easier for riders to simply twist the throttle and enjoy a joyous ride. The company claims that it can attain a max speed of 84kmph. However, riding at such speed won’t do any good to scooter’s fuel economy. Honda claims that it can yield a fuel efficiency of 59kmpl, thanks to the integrated Honda’s Eco Technology.
Braking and Handling
Honda Activa 125 features a telescopic suspension at the front which lets the rider pass bumps with ease. While the rear end gets spring loaded hydraulic type suspension unit. Other than Deluxe variant both the variants get drum brakes at the front as well as at the rear ends.
