Key Specs of TRK800
Benelli TRK800 Highlights
Benelli’s sister brand QJ Motors has launched the SRB 750 in China. It uses the same engine as the Benelli 752S but produces more power. Benelli intends to use the same platform for its TRK 800 which will be designed completely in Italy. That said, expect the TRK to share some components with the SRB 750.
The SRB 750 is powered by a 754cc parallel-twin engine which claims to produce 81.6PS. That’s the same performance as the Leoncino 800 but around 4PS more than Benelli 752S. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
In terms of underpinnings, the SRB 750 features long-travel suspension with a 19-inch front 17-inch rear tyre setup. It uses sidewall-laced spoke rims with tubeless dual-purpose tyres. Braking duties are handled by twin four-pot calipers up front clamping onto disc brakes and a single disc brake at the rear.
Benelli could introduce the TRK 800 in Europe by November and follow it up with its India launch sometime in 2021. Expect the bike to be priced around Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
