Why to buy the bike

With a weight of around 108 kgs, the bike is extremely nimble and very easy to handle in city traffic (considering the Thunderbird weighs around 195 kgs, I am sure you get what I mean). The bike puts no pressure on your legs when you stand in traffic signals. The bike comes with 8 bhp engine performance. This is higher than all the other bikes in this segment. Considering the body weight-to-engine power ratio, the Platina is actually a little powerful bike that can pull weight.

Now while Bajaj claims a mileage of 96 kmpl, I am getting around 60 kmpl. But my bike has not run that many kms yet. I am expecting that with the engine conditioning, the bike will give me around 75 kmpl for sure.

Seating does not require you to lean forward and it is very comfortable. The pickup is very good for a 4-stroke 100cc, with the bike having an encouraging exhaust hum when you ride it.

This bike is now not your best choice for long cruising trips. But that is only because people have better choices these days. There were days in the 80s and 90s when people went to Tirupati and Pondicherry in their TVS Champs. So this can certainly go that distance but you may not prefer to do so. Not the bike's fault, but it certainly will need rest after an hour of continuous riding.

This is one of the most convenient bikes for riding within the city, and get you fast anywhere, through any traffic or lane.
