Updated Yezdi Scrambler Spied Testing; India Launch Soon

Quick News Highlights: 

• Spied bike gets minor changes over the outgoing version 

• More importantly, the engine casing appears to be completely different

It looks like Yezdi is going all out with updating its entire lineup, as the 2025 Scrambler has been spotted testing in India, shortly after the Yezdi Roadster MK2 launch. While the overall silhouette remains the same, there are a few minor changes to the upcoming bike and here’s all you need to know about it: 

What’s New?

The first and most obvious change you will notice on the 2025 Yezdi Scrambler, is a new engine cover. Unlike the blacked out boxy cover in the current-gen Scrambler, this one looks a little more angular, and is finished in bronze. We feel it may also get the same updated engine as the Roaster and the Adventure, but just the engine casing is different to go with the design of the Scrambler. Like the recently launched Roadster, which received a minor power bump, the same could happen with the Scrambler, which currently makes 29.77PS and 28.21Nm. 

Look closer, and another change you will notice is that of a new pillion footpeg bracket. On the earlier bike, the bracket was mounted to the subframe, whereas it’s attached to the main frame in the upcoming bike. We’ll reserve our comments on how comfortable it is until we get to ride the motorcycle. 

Apart from these major changes, the test mules also sport a redesigned side panel and a split grabrail setup, unlike the single-piece unit on the outgoing model.  

What’s Unchanged?

The telescopic fork, twin shock absorbers, the disc brakes, the instrument console and all the other things look the same as the current bike. We found the current-gen Scrambler to be a little firm in terms of suspension, so expect the brand to tweak the suspension in the new bike for better comfort.

Expected Launch Date, Price & Rivals

Expect the updated Scrambler to launch in India around October 2025. As for the price, the current trend we have seen in the recently launched Yezdi models is that the base variants are slightly more affordable. Currently priced from Rs 2,11,900 to Rs 2,15,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the upcoming model should be in the same price range. Once launched, the 2025 Yezdi Scrambler will go against the likes of the Honda CB350RS and the Royal Enfield Scram 440.
