Upcoming Bike And Scooter Launches In August 2025
From a much awaited e-scooter to an updated roadster, and more, here’s what can be expected this month

August is expected to be quite an exciting month in terms of new two-wheeler launches and we are equally excited to see what this month will have to offer. Here is a compilation of all the bikes and scooters that we expect to see this month.
Suzuki e-Access

The Suzuki e-Access is expected to be launched in August 2025. This e-scooter was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (also known as Auto Expo 2025). It gets a 4.1kW motor along with a 3.07kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed range of 95km and a claimed top speed of 71 km/h. Once launched, the Suzuki e-Access will compete with the Honda Activa QC-1 and Bajaj Chetak 3001.
2025 Oben Rorr EZ

The 2025 Oben Rorr EZ will be launched on August 5, 2025. The updated e-bike will get new features along with a slight design change. The current version of the Oben Rorr EZ is available in two battery pack options, a 2.6kWh variant with 110km claimed range, and a 4.4kWh variant with 175km claimed range. While both the variants share the same 7.5kW motor and can sprint to 40kmph in 3.3-second with a claimed top speed of 95kmph.
Bajaj Avenger 220 Street

Last month, Bajaj Auto removed the Avenger 220 Street from its official website. However, patent images and documents of the upcoming bike have appeared online. As per the documents, the motorcycle will retain its air and oil-cooled 220cc engine, with an OBD-2B update. The 2025 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street, a street-focused cruiser, is expected to remain largely unchanged apart from the emissions update. Its launch is expected later this month and is likely to be priced around Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 lower than the Avenger 220 Cruise.
Yezdi Roadster & Scrambler

The upcoming Yezdi Roadster and Scrambler were recently spotted testing, and are expected to be launched on August 12, 2025. The spyshots revealed that the bikes will get slight design tweaks which will give them a fresher look, the Scrambler was also seen with a single sided exhaust. Along with this the bikes are expected to get new features from the 2025 Yezdi Adventure, like the switchable traction control and more.
Triumph Thruxton 400

Triumph India recently revealed the launch date for the 2025 Thruxton 400, through its social media channels. The cafe-racer style will be launched on August 6, 2025, and is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom), which will make it more expensive than the Speed 400 on which it is based. The Thruxton gets a semi-faring, a different tail section as compared to the Speed 400, and a new fuel filler cap, other than this everything is going to be similar to the Speed 400. Once launched, it is going to be the most affordable cafe-racer style motorcycle in the country.
TVS RTX 300

The TVS RTX 300 is the brand’s upcoming adventure motorcycle which is expected to be launched this month. The bike gets proper adventure bike styling with a tall visor, rear tailrack, a 19-inch front wheel and block pattern tyres. The bike will be powered by the RT-XD4 motor which was unveiled at MotoSoul 2024. It makes 35PS at 9,000rpm, 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm and will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The RTX 300 is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), and will compete with the KTM Adventure 250, Suzuki V-Strom 250 and the Triumph Scrambler 400X.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 & Svartpilen 401

The upcoming Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401 were both spotted at the dealerships ahead of the official launches. This means that the motorcycles could be launched soon, maybe by mid or end of August 2025. As seen in the recent spyshots, the Svartpilen 401 gets a 17-inch alloy wheel setup as an option which will be available alongside the spoke wheel setup with tubed tyres. While the Vitpilen 250 was seen with a 5-inch TFT console which replaced the current LCD console.
Honourable Mentions

Back in May 2025, Harley-Davidson India announced revised pricing for its motorcycle lineup in the country. Additionally, the company confirmed the upcoming launch of the CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) Street Glide and CVO Road Glide in India. Harley-Davidson has also discontinued the Fat Bob, which will be replaced by the upcoming Street Bob. While the exact launch dates have not been disclosed, all three models are expected to debut later this month. The Street Bob is a stripped-down cruiser, whereas the CVO Street Glide and Road Glide are ultra-premium models, likely to be priced above Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
