The upcoming 2024 Jawa 42 has been teased revealing its launch date which is September 3, 2024. The new Jawa 42 will likely be powered by a bigger engine as seen on the Jawa 350, however the overall features might remain unchanged. The bike is estimated to be priced between Rs 1.95 Lakh to Rs 2.20 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The Jawa 42 is a neo-retro-style bike, with a proper balance between retro styling and modern performance. The new bike will likely get a completely new frame to fit the 334cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 22.57PS & 28.1Nm while holding on to its neo-retro design. This is a good opportunity for the company to give the bike fresh styling too which will make it an attractive package for potential buyers.
It is expected that the bike will be available in spoke wheels to make the price point accessible and alloy wheels for a more premium feel and the added advantage of having tubeless tyres. The new bike will likely be available in a bunch of colours too. After the last update, the bike is available in 14 colour schemes to choose from, now that is a lot of options on offer.
We believe the additions to the upcoming bike will make it more fun to ride in the city and more capable out on the highway. However, we'll have to wait until September 3, 2024, to see the new 2024 Jawa 42 in person. The bike will rival other neo-retro style bikes like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Honda H'ness CB350.
