UM Motorcycles, whose registered office was spotted a few days back in Delhi has recently updated its OEM by uploading an interesting comparison. The US-based manufacturer has put together three Indian Bikes viz. TVS Apache RTR 180, Yamaha FZ 16 and Bajaj Pulsar 180 against its premium street machine, Xtreet 180R. Another bike, Honda Invicta also finds its place in the comparison, which is sold in Indonesian and Colombian markets.

The technical clash of these machines looks impressive and the company’s 180cc player shows the best weight to power ratio in its class. However, it lags behind in the areas of weight and power and stands on second and third positions respectively in the table. Overall, the bike seems promising and can surely take on other motorcycles with the engineering involved.

For those who are not familiar, UM Xtreet 180R is an exclusive street motorcycle which gets its power from a 179.9cc, single cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that cranks out a net power of 15.4bhp power at 8,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 13.5Nm at 6,500 rpm. The bike has been equipped with some state-of-the-art features to match with the true biker in you. These include blind spot mirrors, anti-theft keyless system and anti-flat sealant puncture resistant tyres. Furthermore, the bike sports a USB charging port as well to ensure that your smartphones and peripheral devices never go out of charge while long distance riding. Besides this, other fascinating features include a bright LED 360° illumination at the front profile and an intelligent auto maintenance unit on the dashboard.

With this, Xtreet 180R seems a worthy 180cc motorcycle and with the appealing features it posses, the Indian buyers will sure be getting a pure two-wheeler delight. The company had earlier announced that it will make its debut to the Indian shores in the coming festive season. With its registered office already open in Delhi, its operations for India have commenced officially. UM Xtreet 180R will hopefully come with a price tag of under Rs. 1 lac to stay competitive in the giant Indian two-wheeler market. Meanwhile, we have to wait a few more months before we could say anything about the upcoming machines. Stay tuned and watch this space regularly on more updates on the upcoming UM motorcycles.
