TVS Ronin - Features Explained

The bike’s features list is more than decent with a slipper clutch, navigation, adjustable levers and more

The TVS Ronin is a neo-retro scrambler and its base variant’s price was recently reduced while the top-end TD - Special Edition received a new colour. Here’s a close look at all the features it gets:

The TVS Ronin gets a round LCD instrument console that shows speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, fuel gauge and gear position indicator readouts along with regular tell-tale lights. The TD and Special Edition variants get Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts, phone signal and battery level status and turn-by-turn navigation along with voice assistance. The bike gets all-LED lighting and TVS’ Glide-Through technology which lets you move around at very low speeds with just clutch modulation and no throttle input. Other features of the bike include a silent starter, side-stand engine cut off, slipper clutch and adjustable brake and clutch levers (only available on the TD and Special Edition variants). The bike also gets two ABS modes: Rain and Urban.

The TVS Ronin is available in four variants: SS, DS, TD and TD-Special Edition. Here are the variant-wise prices:

TVS Ronin: Style Meets Struggle

Looks comfortable for daily commute of 140- 150 km. TVS Ronin offers 225 cc engine with good mileage of 40 kmpl, stunning looks which makes the heads turn, royal and comfy feel without compromising on city ride quality and oil cooling for better engine efficiency. Ride is smooth, punchy, confident and feels agile, makes you confident while riding but struggles in corners because of TVS tyres which lacks grip, comfort and art of cornering. The whole setup looks balanced for the price hence can't complain for that. Yes, I would recommend this bike if you are a person who can spend more on cost of ownership, the service center work is little bad, if you can tackle them thats on you because I have been doing the same, just to put your point, you have to complain otherwise they do not take you seriously specially the centers in small cities like Dewas, MP.
