TVS Launches IRIDE App For An Enhanced Customer Experience

Having features based on ‘Ride’, ‘Safety,’ and ‘Social’, the TVS IRIDE smartphone app aims to provide an enhanced customer experience
TVS has released a new smartphone app, IRIDE, to provide its customers an enhanced riding and ownership experience of TVS two-wheelers. The app is available to download for free from Google Play Store on smartphones running Android 4.2.4 and above. Apart from providing basic features like service booking and reminders the intelligent app also monitors ride parameters, helping customers plan and improve their riding experience and keeping them safe.
Announcing the launch of the IRIDE app, JS Srinivasan, vice president, sales & service, TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS Motor Company has always been lauded for its customer centric approach and it is our endeavour to keep improving our offerings. Designed for the tech-savvy customer, IRIDE is our next step at creating a superior experience for our customers. We are confident that they will be delighted by this initiative as it will amplify their long-term ownership experience.”
The in-built features of the IRIDE app are broadly bracketed under ‘Ride’, ‘Safety,’ and ‘Social’. The app will also be connected to the TVS Motor Company’s 24X7, 365 days, ‘Road-side Assistance (RSA) Program’ that doesn't require any separate membership fee. The RSA is free of cost for customers having a TVS vehicle in the primary warranty period, while other customers can avail the facility by paying the service charge at the time of availing the service.
Other key features of the TVS Motor IRIDE app are as following:
> The IRIDE app can be launched just by tapping the power key thrice.
> It can detect the movement of vehicle and switch between riding and idling mode.
> The app stores the parking location of the vehicle, allowing the user to navigate there
> The IRIDE app allows the user to include their key medical details for first aid and also equipped with executable first aid animations/videos
> It allows the user to book a service and upon booking of the service the user also gets prior reminders before the due date.
> The user can also share their riding achievements, including their top speed or badges among others on Facebook using the IRIDE app.
