    Triumph Street Scrambler

Triumph has been selling scrambler kits for the Bonneville but it did not have a dedicated Scrambler model in India. Until now. With the Street Scrambler, Triumph has the entire modern classic range in India which consists of a classic (Boneville T100, T120), cafe racer (Thruxton R), Bobber (Bonneville Bobber) and a street naked (Street Twin). The 206kg kerb weight is up by 8 kilos. Fuel tank capacity is 12 litres.

The Street Scrambler is based on the Street Twin and gets revisions to make it capable off road. It gets off-road bits like rubber fuel-tank grip pads, a split seat with a detachable pillion seat pad, high-rise handlebars, side-mounted high set exhaust pipes, off-road footpegs and underbody bash plate. The ergonomics allow you to stand comfortably while riding, a requisite for riding off-road. The seat height has increased to 790mm, up 40mm on the Street Twin.

It employs the same suspension components as the Street Twin but gets an increased rake and trail of 25.6 degrees and 109mm respectively for better stability. The front suspension is KYB 41 mm forks with 120mm of travel at the front and KYB twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload and 120mm of rear wheel travel.

The front wheel is 19-inches while the rear is 17-inches, both shod with Metzeler Tourance dual purpose off-road tyres.
For braking, there is a single 310 mm disc clamped to a Nissin 2-piston floating caliper upfront and a 255 mm disc with Nissin 2-piston floating caliper at the rear. It gets switchable traction control.

The engine is a 900cc liquid-cooled parallel twin borrowed from the Street twin and makes the same 55PS and 80Nm of torque. The bike gets ride-by-wire along with switchable traction control.
    Triumph Street Scrambler
The Street Scrambler is priced at Rs 8.1 lakh, Rs 93,000 more than the Street Twins sticker price of Rs 7.17 lakh (all prices ex Delhi). The Street Scrambler will go up against the Ducati Scrambler whose price ranges from Rs 6.97 lakh to Rs 9.32 lakh depending on the model.

Triumph Scrambler 900: Cool but Quirky
I've been riding the Triumph Scrambler 900 Gold Line for 6 months now. It looks great and feels solid on the road. The gold detailing really stands out. It's smooth in the city and fun on highways. Downsides? The exhaust gets hot in traffic, it's heavy at low speeds, and the suspension isn't great on rough roads. Tech is basic for the price. It's not perfect, but I still enjoy every ride. It has real character.

      Specifications
Mileage thoda jyada hona chahiye...lekin aap 900cc ke bike se jyada milage expect nahi krna... Suspension accha hai... Headlight low aur high beam dono pe acche hai... Aur sabse jyada pyari hai iski exhaust... Just badass... Showroom me isko dekhne jaaoge aur iski awaaz sunte toh aisa lagega jaise ye bike mardon ke liye bani hai... Iska compition ka koi bhi bike nahi hai Iss price range me

      Awesome Bike with great Features
Triumph Motorcycles introduced just the XC variant of the new Triumph Scrambler 1200, and we spent a day in the Himalayan foothills, over twisty mountain roads, gravel and rocky trails to check out how off-road capable the bigger scrambler is. It was an enjoyable day riding a motorcycle in terrain. It is designed to tackle, and needless to say, we were impressed!
