Suzuki, a big name in the field of Bike manufacturing, is planning to come up with a 150cc model for the Indian markets. This Japanese giant has already made a big move by bringing its GS150R in the Indian markets. This bike is also in the category of 149.5cc and it further plans to add new model in this portfolio.
The newest edition of 150cc bike will be brought in the Indian markets only if rumors are to be believed. The technology to be used in this bike is going to be inherited from the existing models. Indian markets will have huge scope for the 150cc segment and thus the launch is going to prove real efficient. Moreover the brand name is always what helps the product to spread with more ease in the market. The launch is first going to be held in Thailand but India is luckily in line to receive the product next.
Suzuki will have to use real good technology along with stand out marketing strategies as they will have to face tough competition in the 150cc segment with giants like Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha YZF R15, Hero Honda Achiever. These models conclude the maximum of Indian market. This will be a big challenge for the company to withstand the situations prevailing here.
Talking about the Bajaj Pulsar, this bike is creating wonders sine the day it entered in the Indian markets. It is based on a strong technological platform and is thus a tough competition to its rivals. Suzuki will surely has to go through a backbreaking work to stand in this market.
Yamaha YZF R15, the second big competitor too has spread its huge roots in the 150cc segment and thus is hard to shake. But certainly there is always a grant welcome to new ideas and technology in Indian markets as it is developing country and scope is yet undetermined.

- Suzuki 150R Is A Bless.I'm driving this bike for the last 11years driving about 56000 km. Its average is about 50+kmpl. No major expenditure was done except for some accidental parts changes. 6 gears make it a splendid silent smooth bike. Suzuki should reconsider it with decreased height and BS 6 modulations.Read More5
- Best in classIt's best bike ..... Smooth ride..safety...6 speed transmission better milage better performance, highway cruise and city.9
- An undesired retirement of the best performer. The best performing bike I have ever used. With 6 speed transmission it provides the best mileage. Wear and tear of parts are minimum. Prices of spares are very reasonable. Availability is there, with the company's best cooperation at times. The performance of the bike is excellent in city riding conditions as well as in long drives. The unique point is that the bike can be set in 3 modes of engine running conditions to suite your riding requirements, a feature that I have not found in any Indian bikes. An innovative feature is the digital display of the gear in which the bike is engaged. A Fabulous bike, I wonder why the company pulled it out of road, very sad.Read More8 1
