Suzuki as announced before, unveils two new products for the Indian market, One is its 150cc bike Gixxer and the other is its 110cc scooter, the Let's. The company’s unveiling of the scooter ‘Let’s’ was also an opportunity to introduce the vivacious Parineeti Chopra as their new brand ambassador. Designed and styled for the Indian market, this scooter is quite performance packed and economical. Also, the scooter is ready to compliment Suzuki's desk at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.
According to Mr. Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, SMIL, “Suzuki is keen on providing products for the Indian customer at every price point. The new products will give a refreshing experience and will simultaneously be evocative of the Suzuki legacy of Value Packed Products. We expect both the Gixxer and Let’s to create a strong foothold for themselves in the market.”
Commenting on Suzuki’s brand endorsers, Mr. Atul Gupta added, “Salman Khan’s association with the brand has been long-standing and successful. Parineeti Chopra is the fresh, young vivacious face that connects with Indian youth and their quest for freedom and new expression. We are privileged to have her represent the brand and connect to young India.”
Suzuki Let's houses a 112.8cc, 4-Stroke, single cylinder engine, that is mated with the CVT. The engine is tuned to generate the maximum power product of 8.7bhp at the acceleration rate of 7500RPM while creating the top torque of 9Nm at 5500RPM. The company is claiming a best in class mileage of about 63kmpl with the scooter as they have incorporated the SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology to the mill. The fuel tank capacity of the scooter is 5.2 liters.
Suzuki is the most lightweight scooter in its segment with a kerb weight of just 98kg while the overall dimensions are 1810mm x 660mm x 1120mm (length x width x height). The wheelbase of the scooter is 1250mm, seat height is 765mm and minimum ground clearance is 160mm. The tyres equipped with the scooter are 90/100-10 tubeless tyres at both the sides along with the 120mm drum brakes at both ends. Telescopic oil damped suspension at the front and swing arm type suspension at the rear is fitted for better riding condition.
The appearance of the scooter is much more elegant just like its elder sibling Swish. Let's will be offered in the following paints: Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mirage white, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Sonic Silver. Along with this release, the manufacturer also announced to increase its dealerships figure from 600 to 1000 outlets.
Suzuki Let's User Reviews
Good bike in good condition. Budget friendly. Less driven and well maintained. 2018 Suzuki model. Reach out to us for any clarification or details. The scooter has been serviced regularly and the battery has been replaced recently. Gives a good mileage and is very light weighted best suited regular use
very nice scooter it has good mileage and I use to go to school on it .... and its sound is superb.
Easy handling for all. Reliable at all weather conditions. Thanks to the superior technology of Suzuki.
Worst bike ever nothing good brakes, engine are very bad in performance
I bought my Let's in July 2016 because the Activa was out of my budget. 2 years and 9000 kilometres since, it's still running great! In fact, it has gotten smoother than it was earlier. The scooter is extremely agile thanks to its small size, and also has amazing acceleration off green signals. One thing I particularly love about the Let's is its growl, rather than the whine that scooters generally have. Makes it feel more manly. The styling is also very modern and youth-oriented. Sometimes (once every few months) it has this weird engine problem where the ignition suddenly goes out and then it doesn't start for 15 mins or so. But apart from that, it's all good. The suspension also relaxes a lot after the first 6 months. Due to Suzuki's poor marketing efforts, we really don't see the Let's at all on the roads, just like the Swish before it. But I hope more people try it out, because it really is worth it.
