The maxi-styled scooter was spotted at a dealership in a new matte black paint scheme

  • We expect the price of the scooter to remain unchanged at Rs 69,208 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
  • The Burgman Street 125 is currently offered in three shades - gloss black, grey and white.
  • Deliveries are expected to commence soon.

Suzuki will soon be launching the Burgman Street 125 in a refreshing new matte black paint scheme. The maxi-style scooter has already started hitting dealerships across India and deliveries are expected to commence within a week. With this, customers can now choose from four shades - gloss black, grey, white and matte black. Since there's no difference in price for the Access 125 colour schemes, we expect the same to be carried over to the Burgman Street 125. As a result, the price may remain unaffected at Rs 69,208 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Aside from the addition of a new colour, the scooter remains unchanged. The Burgman Street 125 is currently the most affordable maxi-styled scooter on sale in India. It comes packed with features such as cubby holes in a front apron, a full-digital instrument console, LED headlight and tail lights, a windscreen and an optional 12V USB charging port.

Powering the scooter is the same 124cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 8.7PS at 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. In terms of underpinnings, the Burgman Street employs a telescopic fork and a rear monoshock, while braking duties are handled by a disc up front and a drum unit at the rear. CBS (combined braking system) comes as standard. As for its rivals, the Burgman Street goes up against the Honda Grazia, Hero Maestro 125, TVS NTorq 125, Vespa VLX 125 and the Aprilia SR 125.
