A new born from the giant bike manufacturer, Kawasaki was spotted in Indonesia, which was loaded with a single cylinder engine. This clearly indicates that the company is planning to target the entry level performance bike segment of the developing nations including India and Indonesia. As this new bike segment is gaining high popularity, many products are introduced by different giant manufacturers. This segment covers bike from 150cc to 250cc, which includes motorbikes like Yamaha R15, KTM Duke 200, Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, Hyosung GT250R, Honda CBR 250R and 150R, and many more. There are yet to discover many machines in this segment as almost every bike maker is about to present their toys in the market.

Talking about Kawasaki's new built, this bike is still a mystery. There is a Ninja moniker on the fuel tank of the bike and RR Mono on the engine cowl. It can be the new version of Kawasaki Ninja 250, RR Mono or can be a whole new launch which will be getting placed in 150cc or 200cc segment. Replacing the single cylinder engine with a twin cylinder engine and presenting Ninja 250R in a whole new form does not seems to be legit. So we are hoping that this new comer will set itself in the segment of 150cc or 200cc.

Considering a new bike from Kawasaki seems to be a fine thing at this point of time as in September, at the launch of Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-14R, deputy managing director, India Kawasaki Motors, Shigeto Nishikawa, “We are presently studying what more brands we could launch in India. We have many brands in our portfolio and we need to see which category we could enter. We have a capacity to make 5,000 units a year in India but we are operating at 1,500 units at present. We have to make further use of this facility to improve its utilization. That is why we are exploring the plan of launching more locally made products including the Ninja 250."

This statement also hints that the bike might be Kawasaki Ninja 250RR Mono. However, we can't reach to the conclusion right now and just wait for some more updates regarding the bike, which will clarify the matter. So, stay tuned to BikeDekho for more updates on the same.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 User Reviews
- A Budget BeastBeen using it for almost 5 years now and never had it left me on the road stranding. The bike is a superstar with almost 26-30 mileage, it is just an unbeatable combination of power and efficiency. Cornering is so much fun after I upgraded the three and barely I was ever unsatisfied with the looks and styling its got.Read More4 4
- Performance and reliabilityI chose Ninja 300 for its performance, strong top-end power as I was about passionate about riding. Its good beginner- friendly and revs without being jerky. Has comfortable ergonomics and is a balanced bike with reliability. So far engine was smooth and linear. Sporty but not aggressive and power is usable for city and highways. Longer rider are somewhat comfortable and is stable. Display and techs are basic and is slightly heavy. Braking could be sharper to some extent. Yes, I would recommend Ninja 300 for smooth, reliable and well-balanced to ride easily and still have fun on rides. It tend to have better performance but lacks some basic features which other bikes in the same segment offer.Read More4 2
- Smooth engine, strong highway performance and sporI choose this bike mainly because of its smooth engine and highway comfort. It feels very stable at high speed and gives confidence while riding. Looks are sporty and premium which I liked. In city suspension feels little stiff but I was ok with that compromise. Ride experience is mostly positive. On highways it feels planted and smooth even at higher speed. Handling is very good and cornering feels safe. Mileage is decent not too low not too high. In city traffic and bad roads you feel bumps little more. Yes I will recommend this bike to people who love riding on highways and enjoy sporty riding style. It is not for someone who want soft suspension or only daily city use. Buy it if you want performance and feel, avoid if mileage is main concern.Read More2 2
