Revolt RV BlazeX Launched In India at Rs 1,14,990

The new bike shares a lot in common with the Revolt RV1 but features a few changes

Revolt has launched the Revolt RV BlazeX in India, at a price of Rs 1,14,990 (ex-showroom). The bike is posited as a more powerful alternative to the affordable Revolt RV1 electric bike. Bookings for the bike are open, and the manufacturer has said that deliveries will begin from the beginning of March 2025.

The Revolt RV BlazeX features a similar design and styling as the Revolt RV1. It features the same round headlight setup and a neo-retro styling in the front-end. The bike also retains a few design bits from the RV1 like the long single piece seat, the pillion grab rail and the sharp looking tail section.

What makes the Revolt RV BlazeX different from the Revolt RV1 is the motor. The BlazeX is powered by a 4kW motor, which is a big upgrade from the 2.8kW motor that is used on the Revolt RV1. It offers a claimed top speed of 85kmph. Coming to the battery and range, the Revolt RV BlazeX is powered by a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which offers a claimed range of 150km. 

The battery pack takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to charge on standard charging to charge from 0 to 80 percent. With fast charging, the battery takes 80 minutes or 1 hour and 20 minutes to charge up to 80 percent. Revolt has said that both fast charging and regular charging can be done by the rider at home using a conventional 3-pin socket.

In terms of underpinnings, the bike features a telescopic fork and twin-rear shock absorbers. It rolls on 17-inch alloys at both ends with a disc brake at the front. For better safety, Revolt has added Combined Braking System (CBS) as standard. 

Features wise, the bike gets a 6-inch LCD console. It offers smartphone connectivity and other features such as geo-fencing, navigation via inbuilt GPS. The brand is also offering over-the-air (OTA) updates as well.

The Revolt RV BlazeX will go up against other electric bikes in the market such as the Ola Roadster X+ and the Oben Rorr.
