New adventure tourer TRK 502 from Benelli to be launched in India

From the time the new adventure tourer from Benelli has been unveiled at EICMA, the news of its launch in India is making rounds over the net. If sources are to be believed, we will soon see Benelli’s product list getting updated with the new TRK 502. After the Milan show, the expectations are that this bike will be launched in India in 2016. As upcoming 2016 Auto Expo is already getting attention, the new middleweight tourer will add some more attraction at the event.

The new TRK 502 will be equipped with a 499.6cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine mated with electronic injection. The engine will produce a maximum power of 44.38bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 45Nm at 4,500 rpm along with a 6-speed gearbox with hydraulic clutch. TRK 502 will also flaunt its trellis frame and a beautifully designed 20-litre fuel tank.

Talking about other features, the new adventure tourer has a lot of potentials to be the best in its particular segment. The bike has adjustable suspension tech with upside down fork at the front and the rear part carries mono shock. For a safe braking, TRK 502 will come equipped with 302 mm disc at front with two-piston floating caliper unit and a single 260 mm disc at the rear. The huge Pirelli Angel spoke wheels of the bike are measured at 17-inch.

Though, Benelli came up with its lowest displacement machine TNT 25 few days back and the new street fighter is priced at Rs. 1.68 lac, which makes it the most affordable two-wheeler produced by the company. TNT 25 is equipped with a 249cc, single cylinder, 4 strokes, DOHC, liquid cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 28.16 bhp at 9,800 rpm with a peak torque of 21.61 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The mill comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox having a 1-down 5-up setup. We hope  this new adventure tourer TRK 502 from Benelli will have something new & special for its customers
