KTM India recalls Duke 390 for Front Sproket Check

The Austrian motorcycle maker, KTM is recalling the Duke 390 in India to check a technical issue. The company has detected a positioning problem with the front sprocket locking plate in the drive system.

The part needs to be inspected for misalignment and damage, so it can be corrected by re-positioning or changed, according to the neccesity. So, the company is asking the KTM Duke 390 owners to take their bike to nearest KTM service station for the process. KTM claims that the whole process takes less than 30 minutes and it's totally cost free.

A minor misalignment in the sprocket can tends to damage your whole drive system including chain and the the other sprocket. Damaged chain drive can lead a major accident during high speed riding. However, nobady has registered any such incident till now.

So, we recommend all the duke 390 owners to take your bike to their nearest facility as soon as possible and become sure and safe for the future rides.
