KTM 390 Adventure New Shades Launched: Here’s A Closer Look At How They Look

Completely new shades at the same price tag!

KTM has officially updated the colour options for the KTM 390 Adventure on its official website. While the two new shades were spotted at dealerships a while back, it is now that they have officially been launched in India. The new colour scheme replace the earlier shades and the bike is now available in two colour options: Arctic Flare and Ebony Black. Here’s a closer look at how the new colours look:

Arctic Flare

The Arctic Flare colour goes well with the adventure bike’s design language. This shade gets a white base with grey accents, along with  ‘Adventure’ graphic on either side of the panel. The orange side and rear panels add a nice contrast to the overall design.

Furthermore, the bike gets blacked-out knuckle guards, giving it a sleek look. However, orange knuckle guards would have elevated the overall look better.

Ebony Black

The Ebony Black shade gets a black base paint with grey side and rear panels. The fairings feature a ‘KTM’ logo along with orange highlights. The bike also gets a black front fender instead of the white one seen on the Arctic Flare shade. The knuckle guards are blacked out as well, completing the stealthy look.

The Ebony Black shade is an understated colour that gives the bike a stealthy look. It is ideal for buyers who want a colour that doesn’t stand out too much while still retaining a sporty appearance.

Same Underpinnings

Be it the engine, suspension, features or the chassis, the bike remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by the same 349.32 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 41.5 PS and 33.5 Nm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets a manageable seat height of 825 mm and a ground clearance of 228 mm, which should be more than enough for tackling roads less travelled.

BikeDekho Says

The new colours are a much-needed addition to the KTM 390 Adventure lineup. With the fresh colours, buyers can choose between a flashy shade or an understated, sleek option. The new colours also allow the 350cc Adventure stand out compared to the 399cc Adventure range, giving it an identity of its own. All said and done, the 390 Adventure is a great option if you want a powerful, feature-packed touring motorcycle with loads of features at an affordable price tag of Rs 2,87,802 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India.
