KTM India has given the recently updated 250 Duke a brand new Ebony Black colour and the bike looks smashing! The KTM 250 Duke is now available in a total of four colours: Ceramic White, Electric Orange, Atlantic Blue and Ebony Black.
The new Ebony Black colour scheme gets blacked-out components all around the motorcycle. The bike is now adorned in black from the headlight to the tail light. The only orange we see is the “250” cutout on the tank on each side and the white “Duke” badging below it. The other white component is the off-set monoshock which is really accentuated in this colour scheme. Now this is something which Batman would himself ride around Gotham city.
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged. The KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which makes 31PS at 9,250rpm and 25Nm at 7,250rpm paired with a 6-speed gearbox along with a bi-directional quickshifter. The split-trellis frame gets an inverted fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. Brakes include a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels. Fuel tank capacity is rated at 15-litres and the bike tips the scales at 162.8kg kerb.
Features include a 5-inch TFT from the 390 Duke which gets Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert notification, switchable rear ABS, two riding modes: Street and Track, lap timer and a type-C charging port.
The KTM 250 Duke is priced at Rs 2,45,115 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes against the likes of Triumph Speed 400, Honda CB360RS, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and the Yezdi Scrambler.
