Kawasaki KLX230 Accessories And Prices Revealed

From frame covers and a handlebar pad to a new engine bash plate and more. Here’s everything that is being offered by the brand

Quick Highlights

  • Kawasaki India has revealed the KLX230’s accessories

  • The prices start from Rs 2,250

  • Includes a lot of protective bits as well

Kawasaki India has revealed the accessories list for the KLX230 dual-sport bike. The bike now has 6 unique accessories which can be attached to improve the bike’s safety and even rider comfort. The accessories are currently listed on the official Kawasaki website, and here’s a detailed breakdown along with the prices:

Accessory

Price

Skidplate Small PP

Rs 2,250

Frame Cover

Rs 3,170

Handlebar Pad

Rs 5,830

Hand Cover (knuckle guard)

Rs 7,290

High Seat

Rs 8,580

Fat Type Handlebar

Rs 17,470

To enhance the bike’s protection, riders can go for the skidplate along with the frame cover. To enhance the rider’s protection, there’s knuckle guards and also a handlebar pad. The handlebar pad gives a layer of cushioning to protect the rider in case of a crash offroad.

Along with this, the manufacturer is also offering a flat handlebar, which comes with aluminum raisers. The handlebar looks slightly longer and should provide better leverage while riding when compared to the braced handlebar that was offered as stock. Lastly, the raised rally style seat offers a taller seat height, raised by 35mm.

Overall, the accessories look quite good but they are very expensive. The Rs 17,470 price tag on a relatively simple handlebar and the Rs 5,830 for the handlebar pad is something many riders may not be willing to pay.

Other than the addition of the accessories, the bike remains unchanged. The Kawasaki KLX230 is powered by the same 233cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 19.1PS and 17.35Nm. The Kawasaki KLX230 is priced at Rs 3,30,000 (ex-showroom) and goes up against the Hero XPulse 210.
