S&T Motors, the renowned South Korean two wheeler company is speculating to launch Hyosung GT 650N and Hyosung GT 250R soon in Indian two wheeler market. There are rumours that company has decided to launch Hyosung GT 650N in India on October 12, 2011 and Hyosung GT 250R during March 2012. Prior to this company has successfully launched Hyosung GT 650R and Hyosung ST7 in Indian two wheeler market through its Indian alliance Garware Motors. Hyosung GT 650N will be company’s third offering in Indian market.

Hyosung GT 650N is considered as street version of its elder sibling Hyosung GT 650R and almost carry the same features as adorned in Hyosung GT 650R, namely 647cc, liquid cooled, 8-valve 90° v-twin engine generating maximum power of 72.65bhp @ 9,000 rpm and maximum torque of 60.9 Nm @ 7,250 rpm.  The noticeable difference will be of price and is expected to be priced less than Hyosung GT 650R which costs around Rs 5 lakh. However it is expected that Hyosung GT 650N will be a tough contender for Kawasaki Ninja 650R which is sold with price tag of Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom) price.

Another bike i.e., Hyosung GT 250R adorns 249cc, oil cooled, DOHC 8-valve, 75° V-twin engine churning maximum power of 26.27 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 21.04Nm @ 6,750 rpm. Though S&T Motors has not yet announced that at what price tag it shall be selling Hyosung GT 250R in Indian market but it is expected to be priced between Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh because of v-twin engine equipped in it. Hyosung GT 250R is expected to give tough competitor for Kawasaki Ninja 250R which is also equipped with v-twin engine.

With launch of these new bikes it seems that South Korean company is seriously concentrating on increasing its hold in Indian two wheeler market and therefore there are chances that besides Hyosung GT 250R company may offer various other variants also in Indian market during 2012.

The best 250cc bike. #beast

It is the best bike in 250cc segment. It doesn't look like a 250cc bike , rather look's like a 1000cc bike.

Hyosung Bikes from Indian buyer pont of view

Heavier than Honda CBR 250 R but trustable one.As it is heavier it's stability will surely be top grade, being able to adjust it's pilion seat 3 way is cool.If priced comparatively, it is going to give honda and Yamaha a good competition.Having minusses typical of a Hyosung, I would have liked the weight going down;..yes it's of the same frame of the 650r, but engineers........you should have did something appreciable. But I appreciate double discs up front and good rear nd front looks.Karvray mototrs hav done a great job promoting you.Weel done, But just not it!!
