Husqvarna Svartpilen 250: 5 Important Points

Everything there is to know about the Svartpilen 250 in five points

Everything there is to know about the Svartpilen 250 in five points

Yes, it’s not the Svartpilen 401 we’ve all been waiting to get our hands on, but a 250cc motor isn’t all that bad either. Especially when it’s based on the KTM 250 Duke and gets the same styling as the 401s. There’s quite a lot to talk about, so to make things simpler, we tell you everything there is to know about the Svartpilen 250 in five points.

Physical Appearance:

At a glance, you could tell the Svartpilen is styled to look like a scrambler with an upright braced handlebar, slight forward-biased footpegs, and a luggage rack on the fuel tank, which can accommodate light luggage. The tank flows into a low-profile seat that gels well with the overall design. The Svartpilen features a dark paint scheme compared to the Vitpilen, which comes sprayed in a lighter shade.

Gets Modern Features:

The neo-retro scrambler features LED headlamps, tail lamps, LED turn-signals, a circular full-digital instrument console, and dual-purpose tyres.

Packs A Punch:

The scrambler is powered by a BS6-compliant 248.76cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor, which puts out 30PS at 9000rpm and 24Nm at 7500rpm. That's identical to the power figures of the KTM 250 Duke BS6. It also gets a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.

Underpinnings:

In terms of hardware, the Svartpilen 250 uses a 43mm WP Apex upside-down fork and a WP Apex monoshock. The bike is anchored by a 320mm disc up front paired with a radially mounted caliper and a 230mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard. Its 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels come wrapped in MRF RevZ D dual-purpose tyres.

Pricing & Dealership Network:

You can get the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 for Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 20,576 less than the recently launched KTM 250 Duke BS6. But this is an inaugural price and will be inflated in the coming months. Where can you get one? Well, the bike will be sold via KTM dealerships, which are currently being updated to accommodate both brands.

According to the company, there will be 100 such dealerships in 45 cities across the country by early next month. This will further extend to almost 400 KTM showrooms across 275 towns in the next five months. Official bookings have already commenced and deliveries are scheduled to begin from early-March.

Svartpilen 250 is one of the best bike

Talking about motorcycles, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is one of the best options. It is a great and powerful bike with a 250cc engine. I really liked the old model of Svartpilen. However, the new model is not that powerful if I may say so. But this bike with a single seat and spacious enough for the parents to ride on the pillion was the only available option. I am not interested in a split seat and this bike looks good and performs best in its class and the parts are of very good quality.

Remarkable experience Svartpilen 250

Borrowing the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 from my friend Sameer has been a remarkable experience. First of all, I would like to focus on the design. To be honest..... I liked it at first glance because of its simplicity and cleanliness. However, I did face a few challenges. Its positioning on the bike is a bit aggressive which is not good for long rides. Also, the suspension is a bit stiff, especially when riding on rough roads. In conclusion, I would say that mileage could be better, especially for a bike of this segment.

This bike is a pleasure to ride

The HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 250 has been an exciting bike to own. This bike is a pleasure to ride, so even with my hectic schedule, I make time for it. Anything else I've rode is nothing like its strong performance and striking design. Its agile handling and quick acceleration make navigating traffic easy. Weekends, it's my getaway car for gorgeous drives that provide an exhilarating and cozy experience. The style and performance of the SVARTPILEN 250 are significantly better than those of the last model I possessed. The LED lights and digital display are two examples of the contemporary innovations that enhance the whole attractiveness. This bike never ceases to wow me whether I'm riding on open highways or commuting.

sharing my HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 250 experience

Here I am sharing my HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 250 experience. I took a buddy on an exciting SVARTPILEN 250 ride last weekend. With its own design, the bike appears incredibly tough and fashionable. Its strong and exhilarating 250cc engine. Both off-road excursions and city drives will find the exceptionally comfy seats to be ideal. The SVARTPILEN 250 cruised across the countryside with great ease, handling the tough terrain. Though a touch weighty, the performance more than compensates. Our trip was made much more thrilling and pleasurable by the HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 250 overall.
