Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is doing great in terms of sales. A fact that can be proven by the sales records of the past two years. This is the time when they have emerged as the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India. To make things even better and to achieve its 20 million sales target, Honda has announced to launch four new products every year. Honda CB150R, the naked version of Honda's flagship 150cc bike Honda CBR150R, will be the first in the row. Honda will be launching CB150R on 11th march. It has been developed for Asian market and was showcased in Jakarta last year.

    Honda CB150R

Honda CB150R uses the same engine as used for CBR150R, a four-stroke, 149.4cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. However, Honda has retuned the engine to perform the new duties, the CB150R will generate a maximum power output of 16.8bhp at 10000rpm, with the peak torque of 13.3Nm at 8000rpm. Honda CB150R is the same bike with lesser body panels; it uses the similar frame and suspension unit of the CBR150R, features a monoshock at rear and telescopic at front. The bike is also altered ergonomically, ergonomics have been made more like a street bike to provide more comfortable rides.

Looking at the bike's specs sheet we can say it would be agile, refined and sporty motorcycle capable of urban commutes, along with being smooth on open roads as well. The 150cc bike space in India is a versatile one and being ruled by Bajaj Pulsar 150 for more than decade now. You can find a number of choices in the market, which ranges from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1.21 lakh. Honda needs to price it competitively, lets say, somewhere around the Yamaha R15, so that the bike can win good enough number of points.

      Service is the issue.
Never buy this bike. Pathic service, low-quality performance, and many problems with the bike, and there is hardly any one who can solve issues with the bike, say no to Honda CBR.

      Very bad product
Totally disappointed. Please don't buy Honda bikes. Every monsoon I have to change the key lock as it gets water damaged due to which bike frequently stops while riding. The quality of the bike is very poor.
