Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is all set to launch Honda CB Hornet 160R on 19th of November 2015. The company has not revealed any information about the product in the invitation, but we believe that it will be CB Hornet 160 R. There are chances that the company might also introduce its 125cc ‘mystery bike’, which was teased during the Honda Revfest, instead of CB Hornet. The Honda CB Hornet might be introduced as a replacement of CB Trigger and will lock its horn with Yamaha FZ, Suzuki Gixxer and others in the segment.

It is powered by 162.71cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET). The company has used the same powertrain of Honda Unicorn 160R. The bike generates the 14.5 bhp at 8000 and 14.61Nm of peak torque at 6000rpm. According to the company, the engine helps the vehicle to offer high acceleration and sporty performance.

The motorcycle runs on multi-spoke alloy wheels, which are likely to be wrapped with 80/100-17 and 130mm wide front and rear tyres respectively. It houses telescopic front fork and semi-loaded rear mono suspension system. The design of Honda CB Hornet 160R is inspired from the CX-01 concept, which was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The bike looks masculine and sporty with features like prominent fuel tank, headlamp with minimal fairing, silver tailpiece, split grab rails, X-shaped LED taillights, dual-tone front mud guard, high-mounted handlebar, highlight knee recesses, black centerpiece and plastic side cowls, etc.

Overall Its a Nice Bike.

Overall bike, maintenance, style, mileage is excellent but the cooling system, carburetor, engine kill switch are the drawbacks in this bike. This should be fixed by the company.

Average Bike

Bad looking bike and not for a long ride and not for regular use. Mileage is not good. Fuel tank cover plastic quality and color quality is very very bad.

Just love it.

Overall it's a beast bike in this segment. The road grip is superb. The suspension is a little stiffer side but not so much. Just waiting for the BS6 version.
