Hero Xtreme Sports launching soon; pictures inside

Hero MotoCorp exhibited an upgraded model of its 150cc motorcycle- Xtreme Sports at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. Now some pictures of the bike have came out, which hints that the bike is near to be launched in the market. Sports is a technically as well as cosmetically upgraded version, hence it is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current Xtreme model, which costs around Rs. 79,500 (on-road Delhi) for the double disc version.

The Hero Xtreme Sports has a more aggressive appearance with its bolder headlamp and bikini fairing. You can say it is almost a new bike, because the whole body has been tweaked along with the fuel tank. The bike also gets a new dash, split seat, grab rails, exhaust, engine cowl and tank shrouds, which makes it sportier.

Hero Xtreme Sports houses the same 149.2cc, air-cooled engine, which powers the current variants. However, it has been re-tuned to deliver 15.2bhp in the new version, while the toque figures are almost similar at 12.8 Nm. The upcoming bike might also get a meatier rear tyre for better grip and traction.
