Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Xoom 160 maxi-scooter at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Hero Xoom 160 gets a maxi-scooter design with a tall windscreen, 14-inch alloy wheels with long travel suspension and a front disc brake with ABS. The Xoom 160 is available in four colours: Canyon Red, Matte Rain Forest Green, Summit White and Matte Volcanic Grey. The Scooter gets a price tag of Rs 1,48,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Xoom 160 gets an LCD instrument cluster that shows speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, average mileage, clock and fuel gauge readouts. It also gets smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, keyless ignition and a USB charging port.
The Xoom 160 comes equipped with i3s technology. The i3s technology senses when the scooter is stationary and switches off the engine and starts it again at the twist of the throttle making it easier for the rider to conserve fuel automatically. The scooter also gets an all-LED lighting setup with dual pod headlamps for increased visibility during the dark. It also gets a massive boot for storage with a bootlamp and spacious floorboard, thanks to its massive size and has a large 7-litre fuel tank.
The all-new Hero Xoom 160 maxi-scooter rivals the Aprilia SXR 160. Compared to the Italian maxi-scooter, the Xoom 160 gets a longer and more modern feature list. This makes the Xoom much more value for money and convenient for daily usage.

- Major Hit with some FlawsI chose this bike as I wanted an upgraded version, bigger tyre size, better power, and with an ABS, good suspension and a bit of off-roading as Mumbai roads are pathetic . So no other bike in the market offers these things aerox is there but it has a harder suspension that is tough on shoulders positive ride , for someone who uses the scooter for daily commute this is a major upgrade than most of the scooters available in the market. The pickup is good , braking is amazing , the handling is a bit hard, it is just the engine sound that is a bit off Yes I would recommend this bike to anyone who uses Burgman scooters in that segment if they are looking for an upgraded version.
