Hero Super Splendor Xtec 2.0 Disc On-Road Price: In Top 5 Cities

The Super Splendor is a simple 125cc commuter bike, and the Xtec 2.0 Disc is the most feature-packed version. Read this before you buy one

The Super Splendor is one of the bikes Hero built for people who want a no-fuss, simple commuter motorcycle. The Xtec Disc in particular, is a variant that is loaded with quite a few useful features while retaining the no-nonsense looks. Nothing flashy here, and that's kind of the point. It costs around Rs 90,000 ex-showroom, but it varies depending on the city. Also, once you add road tax and insurance, the final number shifts a bit depending on your city. Here's what that looks like.

Mumbai

Mumbai has the lowest ex-showroom price on this list at Rs 88,000 similar to Bengaluru. RTO works out to Rs 9,680, and insurance adds Rs 6,221. All in, you're looking at Rs 1,03,901 on-road.

Delhi

In Delhi, the ex-showroom price is Rs 90,000. RTO is just Rs 7,500 here, the lowest of the five cities, and insurance costs Rs 6,886. That keeps the on-road price at Rs 1,05,842.

Chennai

Chennai's ex-showroom price is Rs 89,500. RTO comes to Rs 8,950, and insurance is Rs 6,450. Together, that puts the on-road price at Rs 1,04,900.

Kolkata

Kolkata has the highest ex-showroom price of the group at Rs 91,000. RTO charges add Rs 8,190, and insurance is Rs 6,278. That brings the on-road total to Rs 1,05,468.

Bengaluru

Bengaluru ends up being the costliest city to buy this bike in. The ex-showroom price itself is not that high, at Rs 88,000. But the RTO alone jumps to Rs 11,721, well above what every other city charges. Insurance adds Rs 6,221 on top. Add it all up, and it lands at Rs 1,05,942.

Disclaimer: These on-road prices are estimates calculated using standard tax rates. Showroom quotes may vary based on handling charges, insurance add-ons, or optional accessories. If you plan to finance the bike, monthly EMIs generally fall somewhere around Rs 3,000 across these cities, assuming a standard 6 % interest rate. Actual loan payments will depend on your bank, down payment, and tenure. We’d suggest you visit your local Hero showroom for an exact quote.

good bike for daily use

Overall very good bike with reasonable price and engine performance, but yes some vibration in engine at high speed around 70. Looks wise also clean and pickup is not very good or bad. I used honda shine in past pickup was better than this one and yellowish digital meter can be also negative for some user.Read More

Comfort That Feels Premium

Bought this after reading a few owner reviews. The design looked neat and the mileage was impressive. Also comfortable for longer rides. I went for this because it’s affordable and has a solid engine. Didn’t want to spend too much but still wanted a strong machine. It’s a smooth experience overall. Doesn’t make much noise, handles well on turns, and the brakes feel secure. Engine feels peppy and the pickup is nice. Doesn’t shake even at 70–80 km/h. I use it daily and haven’t faced any problems. A good fit if you’re looking for a middle-ground bike — not too heavy, not too light. Easy on the pocket and runs long. Worth recommending if you want value for money. It’s simple, strong, and very pocket-friendly to maintain.Read More
