Hero MotoCorp has launched a new 110cc scooter- Duet today. It is available in two trims- LX and VX, priced at Rs. 48,400 and 49,900 (both ex-showroom, Bangalore). We have already ridden the scooter recently at the launch of the new Maestro Edge and it looks a good value for money option in the segment.

Hero Duet is a unisex scooter with a durable metal body and a completely new 110cc, 4-stroke engine, producing a maximum power output of 8.31bhp at 8,000rpm and a maximum torque of 8.3Nm at 6,500rpm. Along with exciting features like external fuel filling, mobile charging port, telescopic front suspension, boot light, remote seat & fuel-lid opening, digital analog meter console and many more, it claims to return a healthy fuel economy of up to 63.8kmpl.

Mr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman, MD and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, said, “We have now expanded our scooter portfolio with the launch of the new scooter Duet. The Duet and Maestro Edge scooters – the first of the products developed by our own in-house R&D team - mark a significant step in Hero’s journey. The Maestro Edge has already proved to be a blockbuster since its launch earlier this month. Now with Duet in the market, we are confident of further strengthening our presence in the scooter segment.”

The Duet features multiple safety features like the side stand indicator, Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), Integrated Braking System (IBS), tubeless tyres and so on. It is available in the six vibrant color options- Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Silver White, Grace Grey, Matte Nature Green, Panther Black and Vernier Grey (Non-metallic). It seems to be a good competitor against the other 110cc unisex scooters like Honda Activa 3G and TVS Jupiter.
