EXCLUSIVE: Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 To Get OBD2B Update

The price of the motorcycle will most likely remain the same

Quick News Highlights:

  • Royal Enfield will soon launch the Goan Classic 350 with an OBD-2B compliant engine

  • The ex-showroom will most likely remain unchanged

  • Other Royal Enfield bikes are expected to get the OBD-2B update very soon

A new homologation document from the Department of Transportation confirms that Royal Enfield will soon be launching the Goan Classic 350 with an OBD2B compliant engine in India. We expect the bike to be launched in the upcoming next few weeks. It may also get a small price hike over its current ex-showroom price.

Engine

The homologation document also tells us that the power figures of the Goan Classic have slightly decreased from before. It is powered by the same 349.34cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that now produces 20.22PS at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. Earlier, it used to make 20.48PS - which is 0.26PS more. It is paired to a five-speed gearbox. This engine is shared with the Hunter, Meteor, Bullet and Classic 350.

Price

The Goan Classic 350’s is expected to retain its current existing price tag even after the OBD2B update. The bike is available in a total of two versions right now and here are the current variant wise ex-showroom prices:

The 350cc bobber segment killer

It is the most stylish, eye-catching & attractive bike on a 350cc segment from royal enfield till now. With a much smoother and refined engineering from previous 350cc segments by Royal Enfield, they have really curated the best bobber which will not only grab attention but satisfy a riders soul and passion for such bikes. If you like attention and a very smooth engine with much untapped power go for this. Its the 350 bobber segment killer. Till now i have driven 900 kms in 2.5 months with the first service done, i have face zero issues with the bike. There maybe some glitches in the electronics in the much earlier builts but later they have improved those till now no issues in Engine & electronics! I was going for TVS Apache 310rtr but change my taste and segment after test riding this bike never liked any cafe racer or bobber styled bikes but this machine convince me to enter in this segment.
