You can now book a BS6-compliant Classic 350 for Rs 10,000

  • The BS6-compliant Classic 350 could get a price hike of around Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000.
  • It is powered by a 346cc fuel-injected motor.
  • Royal Enfield could introduce new paint options as well.

According to our sources, Royal Enfield is likely to launch the new BS6-compliant Classic 350 in India on January 7. The upcoming Classic 350 could be around Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 more expensive than the BS4 model, which retails at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, select dealerships across the country have already started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 10,000.

Apart from some minute changes to the engine and the exhaust, the motorcycle remains the same as its predecessor. Yes, there’s no change in the design and it doesn’t get new features either. However, we expect Royal Enfield to offer some new paint options.

The 2020 Classic 350 is powered by a fuel-injected 346cc motor. Now, we haven’t received the spec sheet of the BS6-compliant variant, but we can expect a minor difference in terms of power. In its current state, this powerplant churns out 20PS and 28Nm. Furthermore, the bike maker is now offering alloy wheels as standard.

But what about the all-new Classic 350 that was spotted a few months back? Well, we believe Royal Enfield could introduce new models, which could be sold alongside the BS6-compliant motorcycles. Moreover, Royal Enfield had recently trademarked two names - ‘Hunter’ and ‘Sherpa’ - which we think could be the name of the upcoming Royal Enfields.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is my dream bike and now i own this..

I've always wanted to purchase a Royal Enfield, and the Classic 350 was my first pick. For Indian riders in particular, it's more than simply a bike; it's a feeling. I also gave the Jawa and Honda CB350 some thought, but nothing compares to the Classic's legacy and appeal. Long YouTube reviews, forum conversations, and advice from friends abound throughout my research quest. I finally knew this was the bike after a test ride. It felt like mine right away—the comfort, the road presence, the thump. The thump of the engine and the riding posture makes it feel special every time. On highways, it cruises beautifully at 80–90 kmph, and in city, it feels stable though heavy in traffic. Mileage is around 34–36 kmpl. Negatives are the slightly heavy weight and higher maintenance compared to normal bikes, but for the experience it gives, I don’t mind. Yes, for anyone who wants to feel a strong connection with their bike and enjoys relaxed, powerful riding. It is not for people who want lightweight, high-mileage bikes. But for enthusiasts and travel lovers, it is the perfect choice.Read More
