The trend for electric vehicles is growing day by day but their limited charging points prevents the ride to take them on a long way. But this problem has been solved by a NASA's retd. engineer. He has made the removable battery pack. And now the electric bike can be charged anywhere.



Zero Motorcycle is the legend brand name of motorcycle market that has announced to use this type of batteries in its bikes. The company has launched a bike model Zero XU in the market and this type of removable battery pack will be fitted in it. This motorcycle runs only battery power.

The Zero XU is loaded with a 2 kilowatt-hour battery pack that provides a journey of 30 miles or 48.28 kilo meters in a single charge. The bike delivers impressive power and torque; and has a top speed of 81mph or 82kmph. The bike is suitable for a short city riding.

On the other hand, Indian electric bike market is catching gear day by day and lots of companies are providing their electric bikes in India. The Indus Yo Spin,
Indus Yo Smart, Indus Yo Speed, Avon E Bike 022 EB, Avon E Bike Vx 022 EB, ECO Cosmic, Eco EV60, Heroelectric E Sprint, Heroelectric Maxi, Heroelectric Optima, Heroelectric Wave and Heroelectric Zippy are popular e-bikes.

Indian Government is also promoting the Electric vehicles and providing subsidy. Now Hero is also interested to launch an electric motorcycle. In future, we may also see removable battery in Indian e-bikes.
