Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), the only two-wheeler company of Honda in India, has once again received accolades for its first 250cc affordable global sports bike – CBR 250R. CBR 250R has won the India Design Mark - the highest design recognition from Indian Government through Indian Design Council, an autonomous body under Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The inaugural India Design Mark (I Mark) awards program was organized with the cooperation of the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, organizers of Japan’s Good Design Award (G Mark), and preparations began in 2010. Adopting the same high standards as its Japanese equivalent, India Design Mark is a design standard.
It is a trust-worthy indicator of excellence, which recognizes exceptional innovation and assures Indian and global consumers of excellence in form, function, quality, innovation and sustainability of CBR 250R. The India Design Mark recognition provides businesses with international leverage and strong differentiation from competitors. Price wise Kawasaki Ninja 250 is about double than CBR 250 (Rs.1,50,000) and power wise Honda is on higher side with 45PS when Ninja is 33ps. However after CBR 250 comes to Indian market within Rs.1,50,000 (probably ex. showroom) Kawasaki Ninja has to drop their price.Read More
