Is it worth paying Rs 5,300 more for this special edition? We find out

TVS Ronin Agonda Edition vs Base Variant: Differences Explained

TVS recently launched the new Agonda Edition of the Ronin at MotoSoul 2025. Priced at Rs 1,30,990 (ex-showroom India), this special edition is Rs 5,300 more expensive than the base variant with the Lightning Black colour scheme. The Agonda Edition adds a more eye-catching cosmetic package to the TVS roadster. Here’s a detailed look at all the differences:

    TVS Ronin Agonda Edition

The TVS Ronin Agonda Edition features a premium white paint scheme, with the fuel tank, and the headlight cover finished entirely in gloss white. The fuel tank gets silver-coloured ‘Agonda’ stickering on the top, giving it a subtle custom-bike vibe. TVS has also given this edition a blacked out company logo, and added sporty blue and red stripes on the fuel tank to bring in a youthful, energetic touch. In contrast, the side panels are finished in gloss black, and carry the contrasting chromed ‘Ronin’ branding.

    TVS Ronin Agonda Edition

To enhance the sporty feel further, TVS has equipped the Agonda Edition with a fresh seat cover, featuring premium red stitching and a new design. The red rim decals, however, remain unchanged and are the same as those found on the base Lightning Black, and Magma Red variants. These small but noticeable touches help distinguish the Agonda Edition visually while keeping the original Ronin identity intact. Also, it’s important to note that the name of this variant has been inspired from the famous Agonda beach in Goa. Mechanically, the motorcycle carries the same 225.9cc air and oil-cooled engine, paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup, tyres, brakes and frame remain unchanged as well. TVS seems to have positioned this variant for buyers who prioritise fresh styling and want a custom look, straight from the factory without a major jump in price.

    TVS Ronin Agonda Edition

Overall, the Agonda Edition doesn’t alter the Ronin’s performance or hardware, but adds enough unique elements to appeal to riders looking for a more premium and distinctive version straight from the showroom. That said, we’d have liked it if TVS had also added a new TFT screen with connectivity to go with the funky colour.  At Rs 5,300 over the base Lightning Black colour variant, this one feels a bit expensive, but the price gap narrows if you consider the Magma Red colour variant (this one’s also a base model), which costs Rs 3,000 less than the new Goa-themed variant.

Daily commute ke liye mast bike
TVS Ronin ka look dusri bikes se kaafi alag laga. Mujhe daily office aana-jana hota hai aur kabhi-kabhi long ride bhi karta hu, isliye comfort aur styling dono chahiye the. Test ride ke baad bike ka smooth engine aur riding posture pasand aaya. Ab tak ride ka experience acha raha hai. City traffic me handle karna easy hai aur highway par bhi stable feel hoti hai. Seat comfortable hai, isliye long ride me zyada thakan nahi hoti. Mileage thoda aur better ho sakta tha, lekin overall performance se khush hu. Agar aap apna experience comfortable or behtar karna chahte hai to tvs Ronin le sakte hai. Yadi mileage dekhenge to or dusra option dekh sakte hai. City traffic me bhi handle karna asan hi hai, mujhe jyada pareshani nahi hui.
