[UPDATE: Bajaj has launched the updated Pulsar 125]

Updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 Reaches Dealerships; Here’s What We Know So Far

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been the entry point into the Pulsar segment. The bike has been relatively unchanged for a while now. While there’s a whole new generation of Pulsars expected later this year, Bajaj has quietly updated the existing model, just like the Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 220F. However, it has only received cosmetic changes. That said, the bike has already reached multiple dealerships in the country.

    What’s New

The biggest change on the refreshed Bajaj Pulsar 125 is the redesigned front end. It now gets a sharper-looking headlight cowl, which is identical to the one seen on the new Pulsar 150. Along with the updated styling, the bike also benefits from an all-LED lighting setup, including LED indicators. However, the real-world difference of the updated lighting remains to be seen till we test the bike.

Included in the update are revised colour schemes which bring in new graphics as well as rim stickers that match the bodywork colours. The overall styling of the bike has remained the same and doesn’t change the appeal of the bike.

    What Will Remain The Same?

Under the skin, the Pulsar 125 is expected to stay completely unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the same 124.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.8PS and 10.8Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

The chassis and suspension setup are also likely to be carried over as is. The bike will retain conventional telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers, which means it will have the comfort levels that we have experienced previously.

Even the wheel and braking setup is expected to remain identical, with 17-inch alloy wheels, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake. The tyres should continue to be a 90-section unit at the front and a 100-section unit at the rear.

The semi-digital LCD instrument cluster introduced earlier is also expected to continue without any changes. It already offers basic smartphone connectivity features like call and SMS alerts, though it still misses out on turn-by-turn navigation.

    Expected Price & Variant Details

At present, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 is available in Maharashtra in three different variants. Here are the current ex-showroom prices:

    Variant

    Seat Type

    Price (Ex-showroom Maharashtra)

    Neon

    Single Seat

    Rs 86,278

    Carbon

    Single Seat

    Rs 92,992

    Carbon

    Split Seat

    Rs 94,995

We have received the pricing ahead of its launch, and as per our sources, here’s what the price will be ex-showroom:

    Upcoming Variant

    Seat Type

    Price (Ex-showroom Maharashtra)

    Single Seat

    Single Seat

    Rs 87,031

    Carbon Split Seat

    Split Seat

    Rs 89,049

The major difference between the two bikes is that of the seat type. The revised pricing indicates a minor reshuffle in the lineup along with a small increase of around Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000, depending on the variant. Considering the addition of an all-LED lighting setup, updated styling, and fresh graphics, this slight premium seems justified.

Once launched, the updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 will go up against the Honda Shine 125, TVS Raider and the Hero Glamour 125 in India. That said, the bike is expected to be launched in a few days, which is when we will get the official pricing. Stay tuned until then.

interesting attract in daily and riding experience
because the importance of performance, speed, ride smoothly, feel a better, style and look is choosen a based on the bike, or the brother have almost 5-7 brother chose a pulser on they are one reason the choose a bike. So far the ride has been completely fine. so far i have travelled mostly i group of 3 passenger but there is no different b/w travelling solo or in a triple, except that mileage may be different on the ride. I recommend the different reason pulsar buying i required on home to office on 60km going and 60km coming for they are not any problem on the ride time but the also required on 1.5litre petrol on tank or not but our bike is stop or not run 1 km to more or your choice you buy on your purpose.

I Own This Vehicle Since 3 years and feel very comfortable with it. Its looks are very neat and clean, best for collage students. It approximately gives 40-45 kmpl mileage with very reliable and smooth engine, easy to handle in traffic with smooth gear shifting, i can say that this is the best for a new start.
