    How To Book The Chetak

    Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501

You can book both the Chetak 3001 and 3501 by visiting your nearest authorised Bajaj dealership or through the brand’s official website. Online bookings require a token amount, and delivery timelines may vary based on your city and variant availability. Typically, the waiting period ranges from 10 to 25 days, but it’s best to check with your local dealer for exact timelines. You can also buy the Chetak via EMI.

    Colour Schemes On Offer

Both variants are available in five shades each. The Chetak 3001 is available in: Azure Blue, Cyber White, Racing Red, Brooklyn Black, and Lime Yellow. The Chetak 3501 is available in five slightly more premium looking shades: Brooklyn Black, Hazelnut, Indigo Metallic, Matte Scarlet Red, and Pista Green. Bajaj focuses more on elegant finishes rather than loud or sporty colours, which suits the scooter’s overall character. Check out our detailed colour explainer for the Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501.

How Do The Chetak 3001 & 3501 Look?

The design remains one of the biggest highlights. Both scooters feature a smooth, flowing body with no sharp cuts, giving them a very clean and retro-modern appeal. The all-metal construction, round LED headlamp, and minimalistic panels make them stand out in a segment dominated by aggressive styling. The overall fit and finish feel properly premium and well put together.

    Official Accessories

Bajaj offers a range of official accessories for the Chetak lineup, including seat covers, floor mats, storage solutions, and protective elements. These help enhance practicality and allow buyers to personalise their scooter slightly.

    Features And Safety

    Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 and Bajaj Chetak 3501, both offer a strong mix of practical and premium features, depending on how much tech you want from your scooter. The Chetak 3001 keeps things simple and functional with features like a digital display, ride modes, reverse mode, hill hold assist, guide-me-home lights, and auto-flashing stop lamps. It also benefits from a clever floorboard-mounted battery setup that frees up a generous 35-litre underseat storage, making it highly usable for daily commutes.

In comparison, the Chetak 3501 feels far more upmarket, thanks to its 5.5-inch touchscreen TFT display with smartphone connectivity, offering features like Google maps based navigation, call and music controls, and onboard document storage. It also adds keyless access, sequential LED indicators, a glovebox, and connected tech via TecPac with functions like anti-theft alerts and overspeed notifications. Both scooters share a solid all-metal body, IP67-rated protection, and full LED lighting, but while the 3001 focuses on essential usability, the 3501 clearly stands out as the more feature-rich and tech-loaded option.

    Battery, Range And Performance

    Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501 have a clear difference in battery capacity, performance, and overall range. The 3001 is equipped with a 3.0kWh battery and a hub-mounted motor, offering a claimed range of 127km and top speed of 63kmph. Meanwhile, the 3501 steps up with a larger 3.5kWh battery and a more powerful motor, resulting in a higher range of 153km and top speed of 73kmph (both claimed), making it better suited for longer commutes.

    Rivals

The Bajaj Chetak 3001 and 3501 compete with other premium electric scooters like the TVS iQube range, Ather 450X, and Ola S1 Pro. While rivals may offer more features or sharper performance, the Chetak stands out with its build quality, simplicity, and brand legacy.

Overall, if you’re looking for a no-nonsense, premium electric scooter with a focus on reliability and comfort, the Chetak 3001 and 3501 make for strong contenders – especially if flashy features aren’t your top priority.

Hamara bajaj is now hamara chetakev
I had purchased it when ev was new in market, I am very much satisfied. I had drove it for more than 50000 kms with no expense. I had to change only tyres and regular service only one auxiliary battery of Rs. 800 had been changed. I am quiet impressed me and my son both have purchased but there is very less front space between handle and seat to carry extra luggage vegetables or ration need to improve in this area good service staff in patni and Nagpur. I will recommend everyone to go for this ev only. Positive, Very good for local commute, I had recovered all the money spend for purchase, me and my son had not spend a single penny for petrol, very pleasant ride for city and highway also but with limitation of distance. mid age person college boys with huge space in seat box for helmet and laptop girls working women also it's value for money, I had already 2 chetak with me and both vehicle had been run for 50000 and 23000 kms planning to purchase one more for my wife.

      About chetak it's osum scooty
I choose this bike because, I heard from someone electric bike is more value for money, first I thought there will not so much difference then I search, I saw it so value for money and I adviced to buy a chetak. My ride was so far because this EV is the most value for money fuel, first I was using a bike of 160 cc it's average for me was very less in 1 litre petrol it goes nearly 25 to 27 km but, I have taken EV so no need to go for petrol thanks. Yes because it's mileage is very good, I like this bike personally we should don't waste money on petrol because EV is the most value for money fuel from my side advice is we should not use petrol diesel thanks my review after taking chetak was so best.
