BREAKING: Triumph Scrambler 400 X Gets A New Grey Colour
The new colour scheme gives the scrambler a more rugged appearance
Triumph has given the Scrambler 400 X a new grey colour for 2027. The new shade was launched internationally alongside a new colour for the Speed 400 and has now made its way to India. Here's a closer look.
New Colour
The new colour is called Matte Pewter Grey / Matte Khaki Band. It gets a matte black base paint along with a strip of Khaki Green running down the middle of the tank. Unlike the other colours in the Scrambler range, the new colour gets black fenders at the front and rear, while the other colours get matte grey fenders.
Overall, this new colour gives the bike a rugged appearance.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is now available in four colours: Matte Pewter Grey / Matte Khaki Green, Phantom Black / Silver Ice, Matte Khaki Green / Fusion White, and Lava Red Satin / Phantom Black.
Engine And Underpinnings
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged, with a 349 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine making 37.5 PS and 32 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
It gets long-travel suspension at both ends, with an inverted fork and a monoshock. The bike rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel with dual-purpose tyres.
BikeDekho Says
The new grey colour gives the Scrambler a more rugged look, which you might appreciate if you prefer an understated style. Priced at Rs 2,64,978 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Scrambler 400 X goes up against rivals like the Yezdi Scrambler 350 and the Royal Enfield Scram 440.
