Here is what the brand is planning for the next 1 year

Upcoming Classic Legends Bikes To Be Launched This Year

    Quick Highlights:

    • 4 new bikes across all three brands: BSA, Yezdi and Jawa

    • The new bikes are expected to use the new Katar engine

    • Brand is also working on expanding its dealership network

Classic Legends is getting ready to go big in 2027, with plans to launch new motorcycles across its three brands: Jawa, Yezdi and BSA. The company is looking to build on its recent momentum and strengthen its position in India’s growing mid-capacity motorcycle space.

    New bikes incoming

Classic Legends has been maintaining a steady pace of launches, introducing a new product roughly every few months. The upcoming four motorcycles are expected to continue this trend, with a focus on the 350cc and above segments. The brand is also expected to use its newly introduced 334cc engine called the Katar in the upcoming motorcycles as well.

These bikes could be the updated Yezdi Adventure, Yezdi Roadster, Jawa 42 Bobber, and may be a BSA model with the new Katar engine. Classic Legends has also been pushing into lifestyle-oriented categories, especially scramblers, with the recently-updated Yezdi Scrambler and the BSA Scrambler 650. This direction is likely to continue with the new models as well.

    Growth backed by strong FY26

The company saw solid growth in FY26, with retail sales reaching 45,409 units, up from 32,482 units in FY25. This increase came from new launches, festive demand and an overall fluctuation due to the GST 2.0 reforms.

Importantly, Classic Legends also turned profitable during the year. Higher volumes and better product acceptance helped improve margins, and the brand expects this to get even better as sales grow further.

Bigger dealer network and better experience

Along with new products, the company is also focusing on improving its reach. It plans to scale up to 500 dealerships before the festive season and go beyond 700 touchpoints by FY28.

There is also a push to improve the overall customer experience. This includes better staff training, use of digital tools and closer monitoring of dealership performance. The brand is also working on building a stronger riding community through events and group rides.

    BikeDekho Says

Over the years, Classic Legends have been constantly updating all of its models on the basis of customer feedback. The constantly increasing sales numbers tell the difference, the brand has been able to target the right audience.

Classic Legends finally seems to be on the right track. It turned profitable this year, has some new models planned across all of its sub-brands, and is expanding its dealer network as well at a decent pace. That said, there are still some challenges like rising costs and supply issues, but overall, the brand appears to be in a much better place now and is ready to take on some bigger players.
